At Ark every child is unique—we offer a magical enrichment opportunity for kids to connect, develop, and explore their creativity and beyond.
Ark Row Owner and Director Rachel Uziel Berman realized her passion for early childhood development while teaching Mommy and Me classes in Boca Raton, Florida when her first daughter was born in 2014. Rachel ultimately moved to Tiburon to teach preschool at the Osher Marin JCC Tiburon in 2017. On Sundays, you could find Rachel teaching Hebrew School to kindergarteners at Temple Kol Shofar. While at the JCC, the center’s curriculum was based on the Reggio Method educational philosophy: Self-guided, relationship-driven, experiential learning focusing on activities that ranged from music to art, movement, and gardening. Rachel is a natural caregiver, compassionate and patient mentor. She has two daughters: Rafaela (age 6, starting First Grade at Reed School) and Soleia (age 2).
Rachel believes in a holistic approach to education and growth in a nurturing environment.
Ark Row Kids will host several events during the year, such as storytelling in a different language, music, gardening, arts for kids, and much more.
